Quantitative Text Analysis
In 2002 the interdisciplinary project QUANTA
started in co-operation with Peter
Grzybek (Institute of Slavistic, University Graz) and is sponsored
by the Austrian Science Foundation project no. P-15485 (2002-2005).
It is a study of word length in texts from Slavic languages. Particular
emphasis is laid on the frequency distribution (FD) of word length and
on factors influencing word length. Specialists from Linguistics, Text Scholarship, Computer Science and Statistics
are involved in this project. For details look at the homepage of QUANTA
.
