Compulsory course of Technical Mathematics
Aims and objectives
To introduce students to statistical methods. To train the independent
studying of papers and solving of case studies with computer aid.
Teaching method
Each participant will have to carry out a case study (with the aid
of the computer), write a seminar paper and give a lecture.
Contents
Special topics in Statistics: Particulate Matter (PM10).
Technical background, statistical modelling of PM10, influence of weather, traffic

Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistics, Computational Statistics
and Applied Statistics.
